Euro Shorts: project #90, back on track

Let's keep the shorts theme going!

When I started the 365 makes, I knew I was going to have some time sewing with materials I don't usually use.  As unusual as it is, I sew with plastic more than spandex or silks.  Yes, its true.
So I wanted to make the boys some suits before launching into one for myself. So let's do a little lycra spandex fun time.

This pattern is awesome!
there are three options in the design, I made the solid and the side stripe. THere are super fast to put together, well written, and fit well.  I sized the suits down ie: Hawley is wearing the 5, even though he's a 7 in the store, and Murphy is wearing the 3, even though he is a 5 in the store.  I knew that the spandex needed to be snug or the whole look was lost.

I made them while visiting my mom.  Mostly because there was grass for pictures! Deserts don't yield much grass.
Immediately Hawley said, hey, these are green lantern colors!

So Murphy became Captain America. due to the stars:

The boys had a great time with an octo armed sprinkler running about Grandma's yard.  Murphy had a lot of fun attempting to spray the photographer...
