printed: present and future

I signed up for the handprinting fabric swap and then all of a sudden the deadline was here!  I needed to get my ideas onto fabric and into the mail!  I had been messing around with stamping, as you have seen in this post, and decided it was my most reliable method.  I carved 4 stamps and set to the printing of my 4 fat quarters on natural unbleached muslin. If you would like to see other handprinted swap items go here.  Check out Maze and Vale's pinterest here.

I also went about looking for inspiration which I found at some of my favorite mainstream stores:

anthropologie: high low, coastal snapshot, unexpected artiste  modcloth: wing it on in, frames and fortunes  red valentino: mural  jcrew: polly popover

my recipients have some great ideas, cute blogs and I hope they enjoy their goodies!!
